Please use this checklist when preparing for an event. You should use the links to the top-right side of this page to print or save a copy for your records.

Travel Uniform:

• Red band jacket
• Blue "RK" travel shirt
• Black pants
• White socks
• White tennis Shoes (cleaned)

Parade Performance Uniform:

• White sports bra (worn under travel uniform as well)
• White t-shirt with sleeves (worn under travel uniform as well - it provides protection to the uniform and hides undergarments as you change)
• White underwear (worn under travel uniform as well)
• White Spandex (worn under travel uniform as well - it provides protection to the uniform and hides undergarments as you change)
• White tights (provided)
• White socks and bandages
• White marching shoes (cleaned)

Make-up and Jewelry:

• Neutral eye shadow
• Eye liner
• Mascara
• Blush
• Foundation (your skin color)
• Red lipstick (provided)
• No fingernail polish (white tip is ok)
• Absolutely no jewelry is permitted (including watches & rings)

Hair:

• Hair must be slicked back into a bun with no bangs or loose hair

Other:

• Blanket (for sitting on the bus and/or changing)
• Money for lunch

Tips:

• Eat a nutritious breakfast
• Set at least two alarm clocks so you will not oversleep
• Arrive at school with appropriate undergarment on under your travel uniform
• No eating while in uniform, period

Wrap your cleaned, polished, dry marching shoes in separate plastic bags to keep them from getting scuffed. Scuffed shoes, hair out of place, and other seemingly insignificant items cause the entire group to get graded down. Make sure all items are cleaned before every performance.
