It is NOT too late for us to add a few more performers (and supporters) on our trip to London but, time IS running out. We have been asked to submit our first draft of our travel roster by Sept 8.
To sign up please go to the RCC Band website at www.rccband.org and click on the mailbox icon - fill in the blanks and click submit. You will then be added to the RCC computerized mailing list.
Then, please click on the tab at the upper right that says "Riverside All Stars" so you can 'read all about it' - AND you can download all of the info hand outs that we've distributed for months, including the payment plan, etc. You can also find those forms here on the Riverside Kingsmen website by clicking "documents/forms" on the left side of the page.
To be able to add anyone to our official travel roster, we need you to send in some money right away! In a perfect world, you'd send us the full amount due by now - which is $2,200. But... if that is not possible and you'd rather play 'catch up' over the next few weeks, then the minimum now would be $1,000. At this time, these payments are non-refundable, so once we accept your payment, we immediately send it to London, to 'hold' a hotel room and an airline seat. |

Hey World Travelers,
I hope you are enjoying your summer break from school. Sheila and I have just returned from London for our site inspection trip and have a ton of information to share!

In the meantime, I am STILL collecting information on all travelers, as is now required by law. Please, Please, Please send me your:
- photo
- full name as it appears on your passport
- DOB
- passport number
- gender
- date your passport expires
- nationality
- your July payment!
Meanwhile, there are still 15 openings for more performers and a few openings for supporters! Spread the word! It's NOT too late to join this exciting and educational project.
I look forward to seeing you on Aug 18.

The next "London Night" meeting is set for Wed, August 18 at 7pm in HG101 at RCC. At that informative meeting, I'll be explaining the ordering of things like tour jackets & grandstand seats, and the supplemental fees that may apply to some of our choices, i.e. packed lunches for parade day, possible Beefeater Banquet, our special New Year's Eve dinner/party/awards ceremony/show, etc.

"I want to encourage you to start the process to secure a passport as soon as possible! And, if you already have one, please check out the expiration date. According to new travel regulations, your passport must be valid for at least 6 months AFTER our return date of January 3, 2011. Obviously, that means that this very important travel booklet - your passport - must be valid until June 3, 2011.
If it is not, please take the proper steps to get it renewed." |
